The Atlantic released their June 2013 cover story today, titled “What Straights Can Learn From Same-Sex Couples,” and features a tight-angle photograph of two (presumably married) men hand-in-hand. While it doesn’t have the same shock and awe TIME induced earlier this year— when they featured same-sex couples kissing on the cover— it’s still warms us to see these publications embracing the impressive cultural strides we’ve made this year as a community.
